Pythekos School of English

Pythekos School of English aims to make the English language accessible to everyone, following each student individually and respecting the personal language acquisition time.
The logo speaks proudly of the island: the amphora and grapes are traditional symbols of Ischia and its cultural heritage since ancient times.
We are committed to providing our students with all the tools they need to learn this wonderful language.

Becoming bilingual is as stimulating as powerful because the target language ceases to be simply a list of words and grammar rules. Being bilingual makes the target language a means by which it becomes possible to see, perceive and think in a new way.

Noemi

Teacher and Founder of Pythekos

I am a Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages ​. My qualifications include a degree in Languages, Literature and Culture of Europe and the Americas, Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test, Cambridge CELTA, ESB Speaking Examiner and many years of teaching experience.

My passion for foreign cultures, pop culture in films, TV shows, music, and the time spent living in different countries including England, Australia and New Zealand led me to share the joy of the pleasure of discovering other cultures.

During the summer, I also work at English Summer Camps in Italy and abroad with the aim of promoting social activities and increasing the confidence of children and young learners while learning the English language.

Methodology

Full immersive experience

The teaching method focuses on identifying the mistakes most commonly made to improve comprehension and vocabulary. The lessons are conducted entirely in English to offer a fully immersive experience and are prepared according to the student’s needs.

La mia esperienza con Pythekos School of English ha superato ogni aspettativa!
Grazie in particolare Noemi, sono riuscita in poco tempo a conseguire un’eccellente preparazione per affrontare l’esame C1 Cambridge. Sono stata seguita con attenzione e cura durante ogni lezione ed oltre. Sono stata colpita dalla grande dolcezza e disponibilità dell’insegnante che mi ha seguito. Sono sicura che ritornerò per migliorare le mie conoscenze ed il mio livello, non mi resta quindi che consigliarlo a tutti.

Ottimo corso d'inglese,qualsiasi dubbio che tenevo l'insegnante riusciva sempre a capire dove sbagliavo e subito mi aiutava a correggere il problema.

La mia esperienza con Pythekos è stata oltre ogni aspettativa! Sono riuscito a conseguire l'esame B2 cambrige nonostante molte ansie! Le lezioni sono lontane dagli schemi della scuola e ti mettono a tuo agio come se stessi al bar con degli amici. Grazie a Noemi sono anche riuscito a recuperare quell'enorme vuoto grammaticale che avevo! Tornerò sicuramente per conseguire il prossimo livello!

Grazie a Pythekos School of English, specialmente nella figura di Noemi, ho avuto la grande opportunità di arricchire la mia conoscenza della lingua inglese di livello C2 attraverso una serie di lezioni finalizzate al conseguimento della certificazione Cambridge. Noemi, oltre a essere molto preparata, si è dimostrata sempre gentile e disponibile al dialogo, trasmettendomi costantemente fiducia. Un'esperienza globalmente formativa che raccomando a tutti.

La mia esperienza con Pythekos school of English è stata estremamente positiva. Sono partita da un livello di conoscenza base dell' inglese con l'obiettivo di migliorare la mia capacità di comprensione e conversazione.
La docente con cui ho lavorato mi ha fornito tutti gli strumenti teorici e pratici adatti allo scopo, riuscendo a rendere le lezioni piacevoli e coinvolgenti.
Anche se la conoscenza di una lingua è un viaggio che può durare tutta una vita, ad oggi sono davvero soddisfatta perché le mie abilità linguistiche sono nettamente migliorate.
Per questo ho deciso che il mio viaggio continua con Pythekos school of English.
